Hi, Theresa! I'm still not sure how I missed meeting and talking with several Pixies. I'm sorry you were one of the ones I missed! Hopefully we will rectify that in DC!

Well, I can do 50K in three weeks, but no one ever said it was any good. :) It's pretty rough and in need of a lot of work.

Hi, Danniele! I'm glad you made it. And in California, it's still early, so you aren't late at all really. :)

Trust me, Alabama is fabulous in its very own way. Alabama has Heart of Dixie!! :)

Hi Lynne! It's great getting to know more about you, especially since I didn't get to talk to you in S.F. How wonderful that you've traveled to all these beautiful places. And 50,000 words in three weeks! Awesome. Keep up the good work. We'll see your book on the shelves soon, I'm sure!

Hey, Lynn! *waves madly* Better late than never, huh?

We're so proud of you! And though I haven't gotten to read anything yet, I've heard awesome things about your voice. Good luck with your editor this year.

I can't imagine how Alabama can compare with all those wonderful places you've visited! But we're so glad you moved here and became a part of Heart of Dixie.

LOL, finally you get to win instead of being the one giving stuff away, right? :)

Keeper shelf: SEP, Roxanne St. Claire, Laura Kinsale, Candice Proctor, Linda Howard -- but that's only so far! In fact, I think I should add Sherry Thomas and Anna Campbell to that list. Their first romances blew me away. And I'm always discovering new authors to add to the shelf. :)

I wish I could write in the paranormal genre. I've had two ideas that I think could work (no vampires involved) and I'd love to be able to have time to write them. Because, again, it's all about the hero with me.

But if we take it broader than romance, then I wish I could write a really awesome historical mystery. I love those! (Though I think I'd always have a romance in there...)

Yay! I won! My granddaughter is going to love that lunch pail. Grammy gets to keep the bookmark though.

I'll ask a question: what authors are on your keeper shelf? And what genre do you wish you could write but haven't been able to?
