You clearly have an artistic streak a mile wide! (I took years of piano, too, but only play a little for fun sometimes now :)) And you've got an awesome husband and kids, plus you can cook! I'll be sure to invite myself over when I'm in your area ;) My husband and I have enjoyed reading some accounts of culinary school and have a friend who took some classes--it's not an easy journey either! As for why I read romance, it's kind of a similar reason--it's the positive feelings and the HEA. I enjoy being reminded of the good things in life and the joyful parts of developing relationships and the sometimes hidden blessings in those.
